New site added to the Costa Rican Bird Route

The Reserva Santa Elena has recently been added to the Costa Rican Bird Route (CRBR). This community owned reserve, similar to that of Quebrada Grande, is located in the northwest sector of the CRBR.  The community has been very active in developing eco-tourism and community development projects over the last few years and is a good addition to the route. This addition was possible because the Lomas Sardinal site was unable to commit to the contractual responsibilities required of it by Rainforest Biodiversity Group and the CRBR. Look for more information on Reserva Santa Elena on the CRBR website http://www.costaricanbirdroute.com/sites.
